Privacy Policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Enalas Group LLC d/b/a Cars Coffee Tees ("Cars Coffee Tees," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit carscoffeetees.com (the "Site"), buy from us, sign up for emails, send us a message or idea, or order a Custom Car Drawing. It also explains the choices and rights you have.
The short version: we collect what we need to make and ship your order, answer you and send emails you asked for. We share it only with the companies that help us do that, like our store platform, payment processors, print partners and shipping carriers. We don't sell your personal information for money. You can reach us anytime through our contact form or at pearson.benjamin@enalasgroup.com. This summary is only for convenience; the full policy below is what applies.
1. Who we are
Enalas Group LLC d/b/a Cars Coffee Tees is a small, independent shop in the Rochester, New York area that sells limited drops of tees, tall tees, hats, mugs and stickers featuring original hand-drawn car art. Our store is hosted on Shopify, and our products are printed or embroidered to order and shipped by third-party print partners. Enalas Group LLC d/b/a Cars Coffee Tees decides how the personal information described here is used and is responsible for it (the "controller" or "business" under privacy laws).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Orders and checkout. When you buy something, Shopify's checkout collects your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number if you give it, what you ordered and your payment details. Payment card details are handled by Shopify and its payment processors. We never see or store your full card number.
- Account information. If you create or sign in to a customer account, we get the details tied to it, such as your name, email address, addresses and order history.
- Newsletter signup. When you join our email list, we collect your email address and the fact that you agreed to receive emails.
- Contact form. When you message us, we collect your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and whatever you write.
- Drop Suggestions form. When you send an idea, we collect your name, email address, the type of suggestion, your idea and any photo link you include.
- Custom Car Drawing orders. We collect the car photos you upload, your notes (such as plate text) and whether you opted in to having your design released as a public drop. See section 3.
- Order support. If you report a problem with an order, we collect your order number, your messages and any photos you send.
Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site, Shopify and the tools described in section 6 automatically collect device and usage information. That includes your IP address, browser and device type, approximate location based on IP, pages viewed, referring site, the date and time of your visit, and cart and checkout activity. Much of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Information from others: we may receive order, delivery and tracking updates from our print partners and shipping carriers, and fraud-screening and payment status from Shopify and payment processors.
We don't ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information or precise geolocation. Please don't send it to us.
3. Custom Car Drawing photo uploads
- Use. We use the photos and notes you upload only to create your drawing, send you proofs and make merch you order with your art. We don't sell your photos, use them in ads or share them publicly. The finished drawing is covered by our Terms of Service. If we show a finished drawing in our portfolio, we remove or blur plate text unless you ask us to keep it, and we never show people, faces or house numbers. You can opt out anytime, and we'll take it down from our site within 10 business days.
- What to upload. Please upload photos of your car only. Avoid photos that show people, faces, home addresses or other personal details. If a photo shows a license plate, we only use the plate text if you ask us to.
- Storage. Uploads are stored by Shopify as part of your order.
- How long we keep them. We keep your photos only as long as we need them to finish your drawing and handle merch orders for it, and no longer than 12 months after your final proof. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner through our contact form or at pearson.benjamin@enalasgroup.com. Your order record itself (what you bought and when) is kept as described in section 9.
4. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- process, produce, ship and track your orders, and handle replacements and refunds;
- create Custom Car Drawings and run private drops;
- answer your messages and review your Drop Suggestions;
- send order and shipping emails, and marketing emails if you signed up for them;
- understand how the Site is used, so we can fix problems and improve it;
- prevent fraud, abuse and security problems; and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
5. How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed to run the shop:
- Shopify, our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Site, runs checkout, stores order and customer data, sends some emails and provides analytics. See Shopify's privacy policy.
- Payment processors (including Shopify Payments and any other payment option you choose at checkout), to process payments and screen for fraud.
- Third-party print partners, which print or embroider and pack your order. They receive the items ordered and your name, shipping address and contact details needed to fulfill it.
- Shipping carriers, which deliver your order. They receive your name, shipping address and, where needed, your email or phone number for tracking updates.
- Email and app tools we use to run the store, which handle information for us under their own privacy terms.
- Legal and safety reasons, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
- Business transfers, if the business is sold, merged or reorganized, in which case your information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We may also share information with your consent or at your direction.
6. Cookies, pixels and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to run the cart and checkout, remember your preferences, keep the Site secure and understand how visitors use it.
- Essential cookies. These keep your cart, checkout and login working. The Site won't work properly without them.
- Shopify analytics. Shopify measures visits, page views, traffic sources and sales activity so we can see how the Site is doing.
- App pixels. Shopify apps we use, including one from a print partner, may collect page-view and checkout events through Shopify's customer events system. Shopify classifies some of these as analytics or marketing.
- Social media. The Site links to our social media pages. We don't currently use advertising pixels from social networks or search engines. If we add them, we'll update this policy.
Your choices: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the Site may stop working. Where a cookie or tracking-consent banner is shown, you can use it to choose which non-essential cookies to allow. To read about Shopify's cookies, see Shopify's cookie policy.
7. "Sale" and "sharing" of personal information
We don't sell your personal information for money, and we don't share it with data brokers.
Some US state laws define "sale," "sharing" or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include certain cookies and pixels on online stores. To opt out of any such activity, use our Your Privacy Choices page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of "sale" and "sharing" for that browser.
We don't knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
8. Emails and marketing choices
We'll send you order confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your messages. We'll only send marketing emails, such as drop announcements, if you signed up or agreed at checkout. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to unsubscribe you through our contact form or at pearson.benjamin@enalasgroup.com. After you unsubscribe, you'll still get emails about orders you place.
9. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy:
- Orders and transactions: for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
- Custom Car Drawing photos: no longer than 12 months after your final proof, as described in section 3.
- Messages and Drop Suggestions: generally up to 2 years, or longer if they relate to an order or an idea we're working on.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information.
- Analytics data: kept under Shopify's standard retention periods.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
10. How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. These include Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited access to store accounts. No website or online service is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate information;
- have your information deleted;
- opt out of marketing emails, and of any "sale," "sharing" or targeted advertising (see section 7); and
- withdraw any consent you gave us.
To make a request, use our contact form or email pearson.benjamin@enalasgroup.com and tell us what you're asking for. To protect your information, we'll verify the request, usually by matching it to the email address on your order or account. An authorized agent may make a request for you with proof that you authorized them. We'll respond within the time the law requires, generally within 45 days. We may keep some information when the law requires or allows it, for example order records we need for taxes. We won't treat you differently for using your privacy rights.
12. US state privacy rights
Residents of California and other states with consumer privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and others) have the rights in section 11 as provided by their state's law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision through our contact form or at pearson.benjamin@enalasgroup.com.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). In the past 12 months, we collected these categories of personal information for the purposes in section 4, and disclosed them to the recipients in section 5:
- identifiers (name, email, address, phone, IP address);
- customer records and commercial information (orders and payment status, though card numbers are handled by our payment processors);
- internet or network activity (pages viewed and how you use the Site);
- approximate location derived from your IP address;
- photos and audio-visual information (Custom Car Drawing uploads and photos you send us); and
- inferences drawn from your shopping activity, used only for analytics.
We don't use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose that would give California residents a right to limit it. California's "Shine the Light" law also lets California residents ask about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing. We don't make those disclosures.
13. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
14. Visitors outside the US
We're based in the United States, and we currently sell and ship only within the US. Our platform and partners may process information in the US and other countries. If you visit the Site from outside the US, your information will be processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from yours.
15. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party sites and services, such as social media. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a material change, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know, such as a notice on the Site.
